High Above, Culture After Dark
On the top floors of the 280 m One Raffles Place, OUE Restaurants made its first move into nightlife. Partnering with their pre‑opening team of nightlife veterans, we built OUE SKY (HighHouse / Nova) from the ground up, distinct in personality yet united in cultural spirit.
Head in the Clouds
As a landmark project and investment for OUE Restaurants, OUE SKY carried real stakes. The goal was to create a flagship that strengthens the brand’s presence—not only with height, but a clear point of view would make it a destination. The brief: shape two experiences under one roof, each with its own pull, yet together forming a singular cultural statement in the sky.

Behind the Vision
BELIEF & MOMENTUM
From a blank slate, we worked with a team of industry veterans to define a shared foundation for two interconnected yet independent brands. We translated ambition into commercially coherent concepts, fused elements uncommon in the category, and set a framework to guide decisions from upholstery choices to the eventual art collection.
The vision began as a flicker, a place that could leave an indelible mark on the city skyline. A gathering point where food, music, art, and conversation flow freely, drawing a cross‑section of the city. Its vantage makes it a natural landmark; its ambition is to offer a culturally enriching experience that tests boundaries without pushing anyone away.
HighHouse
A contemporary social salon in the sky where dining, art, music, and conversation converge from day to night. Press called it “one of Singapore’s most in‑vogue daytime‑to‑night venues,” celebrated for combining cuisine, creativity, and sweeping skyline views.
Nova
A kinetic rooftop playground for renewal and cultural exchange, alive with festival‑inspired energy. Media described it as “Singapore’s festival in the sky.”
CHARACTER & FORM
We developed two distinct yet visually related identities: HighHouse with stately elegance softened by Pacific tones; Nova with a luminous, ever‑changing edge. Both identities were designed to be actively managed by their respective teams, allowing each venue to evolve while maintaining a coherent brand architecture for OUE SKY.

Outcomes
Strong media buzz: Extensive coverage positioned HighHouse as a culinary‑art‑music hybrid and Nova as the city’s tallest, highly dynamic rooftop bar.
Destination status: OUE SKY is now a recognised go‑to for culture‑led nightlife, with signature features like Nova’s ASTRA light sculpture becoming social media fixtures.
